Do All Trailer Hitches for 2017 Chevrolet Malibu Require Fascia Trimming

Question:

A Hitch for 2017 Malibu 4 cyl. you show 2 hitches, a Draw-Tite and a Curt. the video shows that the Fascia needs trimming on the Draw-Tite, But on the Curt it doesnt show that I would have to cut the Fascia trimming. Is this correct about the Curt, because I really dont want to cut the Fascia trimming on a new car. Thanks

All of the hitches we offer for the 2017 Chevy Malibu require fascia trimming, including the Draw Tite part # 36652. I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions that show where the trimming takes place.
