Center of Ball Hole to Outer Part of Handle on Bulldog BX1 Gooseneck Coupler # BD1289210300

Question:
I have a gooseneck ball that is recessed in a well below the flat bed deck. The well is not as wide as others. Im concerned that this coupler may not have enough clearance due to the handle. What is the measurement from the center of the ball hole to the widest part of the coupler?

On Bulldog BX1 Gooseneck Coupler # BD1289210300 the distance from the center of the ball hole to the outer edge of the handle is 4 inches. An inner tube such as # BD0288660300 could be a better option since its handle can fold in.
