First, you can use Derale Thermostatic Sandwich Adapter Kit, # D15730. This is a Thermostatic type of adapter that allows oil cooler than 180 degrees to bypass the heat exchanger.

The other options is Derale Non-Thermostatic Sandwich Adapter Kit, # D15735. This kit actually comes with several size fittings to fit different engines. You engine uses the 3/4 inch-16 engine filter thread size which is important when determining which adapter to use.
