I am confused about what kind of bulb this takes. The QandA answer says LED 912 but the product information on the website says incandescent lighting. Can I use either?

The 912 or 921 bulb style can be used in the Gustafson RV Lighting part # 277-000322. There just happens to be an LED version of this as # DI68VR which is a warm white that would work better for interior lighting.
Or for a standard incandescent bulb we have the part # 30-90-021.
