Where to Jack Up a 2014 Acura RDX to Install a Trailer Hitch

Question:

Hey guys, I am planning on installing the hitch I got from you guys next weekend. I would like to lift the back of the RDX to ease the installation process. I am not sure where the rear jackpoint it. I believe it is the one I marked on the attached image, but I am not certain. Any ideas? Thanks

Officially, the rear jack point on the 2016 Acura RDX is a few inches forward of the rear tire. There is a tab on the vehicle that fits a notch in the jack that comes with the vehicle. But what I would do is go to a local auto parts store and get some ramps and back the vehicle up the ramps. Otherwise any strong structural component such as the frame/uni-body support would work. I would not use the wishbone suspension support bracket there in your picture because it is pretty far underneath and not all that easy to get to.
