Question:
I have a 2011 Outback with the 6 cyl. motor. It also has duel exaust factory. Will hitch #75673 fit my car and are there any other changes? As to the wiring, is it plug and play ? Years ago on my first Subaru it was a bear to wire it up! Thanks for your help and I will be ordering my hitch and wiring when I hear back from you and everything will work

I spoke with my contact at Draw-Tite and he stated that trailer hitch # 75673 will fit the 2011 Subaru Wagon (except Sport) and All Legacy models. This would include dual exhaust models. There is some heat shield modification that will need to be done so the trailer hitch will fit properly. I have included a link to the installation instructions for reference and a video showing installation on a similar model.
For the 2011 Subaru Outback (except Sport), you can use Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118467, which would be a plug and play harness. I have included a link to the installation details and a video showing installation for you to review.
For the 2011 Subaru Legacy, all models, you can use Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 56091, which is essentially a plug and play harness that plugs in behind each tail light. I have included a link to the installation details for this harness as well.
