The Rhino-Rack Alloy Tray Cargo Carrier for Aero Crossbars - 4 Planks - 71" Long x 40" Wide AT1810-SK35 will fit a 2016 Toyota 4Runner but has been discontinued. I reached out to the manufacturer because they recommend using 3 crossbars for this system, but they do not offer a 1/2 kit roof rack option. They said it can be used with 2 crossbars, but they recommend 3.
For a roof rack, you will need crossbars with t-slots if you don't already have them. I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 49" Long - Qty 2 # RRVA126B-2 along with the Rhino-Rack RX100 Legs for Vortex Crossbars and Pioneer Platforms - Raised Factory Side Rails - Qty 4 # RR97AP for the roof rack on your 2016 Toyota 4Runner.
If you don't have this tray, then I recommend the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform - Universal Mount - 58" Long x 47" Wide # RR42115BF which will also work with this system but won't require the 3 crossbars.
