Question:
DOES THE RETRACTED MEASUREMENT INCLUDE THE POST WHERE THE HANDLE IS CONNECTED? OR JUST TO THE TOP OF THE JACK BODY?

The 23-3/8 measurement is to the top of the jack's tube. The to the top of the post the handle connects to the Bulldog Square Jack # BD182304 measures approximately 27-3/8 inches.
