How to Upgrade the Reese 16K Pro Series Slider to a 20K Slider Unit for a 2010 GMC 2500HD

Question:

I have a Pro Series 15k slider and would like to upgrade it to a 20K slider. can I just purchase the pro series 20K head and put it on my slider. If not what do you suggest, My truck is a GMC 2010 2500HD.

Yes, you can just purchase the Pro Series 20K Fifth Wheel Head Assembly, Head Support and Handle Kit, item # 30118, to go on the slider assembly, item # RP50024, that your 16k head assembly is attached to now.

The same Slider assembly is used on the Pro Series 16k and 20k head units.
