Troubleshooting Brake Controller Install in 2014 GMC Sierra 1500, Trailer Brakes Won't Activate

Question:
I bought a POD brake controller and cannot get it to work. I hooked it up to the correct module underneath the dash, and it appears I have my fuses under the hood. It works and lights up the brake lights, bit does not engage the trailer brakes. Any suggestions?

There still may be a few connections under the hood of your truck that need to be connected to allow the controller to function properly. We have seen that for the 2014 GMC Sierra and Silverado 1500s there still remains a few connections that weren't made like the previous generation trucks were known for.
