Yes, the Draw Tite hitch part # 36296 is a fit for your 2001 Dodge Caravan Sport. This hitch is a fit for all models of the 2001 Dodge Caravan.
For trailer wiring you then would want the part # 118376. I attached an install video for this as well.
For a ball mount you would want the part # 36071, with hitch balls # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
