Can Curt Short Arm Spring Bars be Used in the Same Head as Regular Length Spring Bars

Can I use this bar to replace the 30 and 5/8 inch bars that came with the Curt 17301 Hitch Kit? The trailer I purchased has the brackets per-welded onto the trailer and they are setup for a 28 3/8 inch bar.

If your Curt weight distribution system uses trunnion bar head # C17307 then yes, you can use the short arm spring bar # C17335. If your head does not look like this let me know what you do have and I can determine if there are any other options.
