Hi, The R53 cooper S 2005 SEEMS TO BE A CAR THAT NOBODY WANTS to fit a rack bar to. There is a plastic seem around the roof, held on with 5 self tappers! so how can you trust a 100Lb dinghy on top! cn you advise thanks

Most of the roof racks we offer for your R53 have a weight capacity of 110-lbs. You will want to check your owner's manual or with your dealership to make sure your vehicle has the capability of handling your 100-lb dinghy.
