Will Prodigy RF Brake Controller Work on 2016 Toyota Highlander

Question:
I have a 2016 Toyota Highlander XLE and I am researching hitches, wiring and brake controllers. I decided the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller was perfect. However, when I enter my vehicle information your site tells me the Prodigy RF Controller is not compatible with a 2016 Highlander. I dont understand how any vehicle could be incompatible with an RF controller. Can you help?

The Prodigy RF part # TK94FR is a fit for your 2016 Toyota Highlander. It basically can fit and work well on any vehicle that has a 7-way with an active 12 volt power source. Make sure you pair the controller on level ground though as that's the only issue that causes the RV to sometimes not brake well!
