I have a 2015 Traverse LT and I have the factory crossbars. Im looking for a sleek cargo box that will fit on these crossbars without the need for special and expensive footings/risers/ etc. What do you recommend?

The 16-cubic-foot Thule Motion XT rooftop cargo box # TH629706 offers an aerodynamic box with internal dimensions of 69 x 32-1/2 x 15-inches tall, enough for large cargo items like skis up to 201-cm long. This box has a reasonable weight (about 42-lbs). It will mount just fine on your factory crossbars.
If you do not need as much capacity then I suggest the Force Medium # TH6356B. This costs a good bit less than the Motion XT and does not share its same great looks, but it can get the job done. It weighs notably less at only 35-lbs.
I always recommend to customers that use rooftop cargo items a simple accessory that can make life easier. The Camco step # CAM43676 is a cost-effective lightweight folding aluminum step that can make loading and unloading your rooftop cargo a whole lot easier.
Keep in mind that no matter which cargo box you choose the combined weight of the box and cargo must remain within the roof's rated weight capacity.
