I am looking to purchase a 1 1/4in hitch mounted bike rack for my Ford Fiesta. I will be installing a Curt class I hitch. I have two goals in mind. 1 I need four bike capacity 2 I will sometimes mount a single bike that has a motor estimating 45-50 lbs total weight I am considering the Thule Hitching Post Pro, however I noticed your web page lists 35lb max sinlge bike weight. Would having one heavy bike be an issue? If so, what recommendations would you make? Thank you,

Installing a Class l hitch limits bike carriers to 2 bikes.
The trailer hitches we offer vary depending on the year of the Fiesta. For example, for 2011 through 2013 Ford Fiesta Sedan, the Curt Trailer hitch that is a fit is part # C11055.
For a Hatchback 2011 through 2016 the Curt Hitch is part # C11067.
When bike carriers list their weight capacity it will be for the capacity of the carrier with the weight distributed evenly. For example, the Hitching Post, part # TH934XTR has a capacity of 35-lbs per bike in any one station on the carrier.
Since you are limited to carrying two bikes with your Focus I may have a solution that will work for you.
I recommend the Curt # C18085. This bike carrier works in a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening and carries two bikes up to 45 pounds each. This carrier has a weight capacity of 40-lbs per bike.
Since you are limited to carrying two bikes in the hitch if you let me know what year your Fiesta is I can make some recommendations for a roof rack and carriers for the other two bikes you need to carry.
