Can you use heat shrink butt connectors instead of the Deutch connector? These will be installed on a deep sea boat.

If you wanted to hardwire Vision X Duralux Floodlight # DURA-460 but removing the connectors then you certainly could. We have a 10 pack of heat shrink butt connectors for 16 to 14 gauge wire # DW05744-10. Doubling up the wire and then crimping it down will ensure a tight fit.
