Recommended Roof Rack And Kayak Carrier For 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport With Flush Roof Rails

Question:
Hi, I have been looking over the site for some time now and am confused about which product will work best. I own a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with the flush side rails. I am looking for a roof rack and a kayak carrier that is compatible with the rack. I think I would prefer the Thule or Yakima products, but am open to suggestions from the experts. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

For a nice clean look on your 2014 Santa Fe I like the Thule AeroBlade roof rack system.
The system features ultra-quiet aerodynamic black aluminum crossbars and feet that mount to the siderails on your roof. This roof rack has a 165-lb weight capacity but you need to make sure you do not exceed the roof weight capacity of your vehicle. To order this roof rack you will need part # TH7602B-TH7603B, and part # THKIT4029.
To secure the roof rack on your vehicle I recommend using the Thule-One-Key lock system, part # TH450600.
For a kayak carrier I recommend the Thule Glide and Set Rooftop Kayak Carrier, part # TH883. This system attaches easily to the AeroBlade crossbars and includes the ratcheting tie-downs and straps to secure the kayak to the rack.
It can be difficult to find a place on the vehicle to attach the tie-downs so I recommend the Thule DockGlide Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs, part # TH896. Just attach these to the end of the tie-downs and close them inside the hood and hatch to secure the bow and stern of the kayak.
