I want to buy a thule cargo carrier for my 2013 ford focus HB. I was wondering if the Thule Motion XT fit the car without any issues? Are their any other Thule carriers that would work without hatch interference? I am interested in getting the largest capacity carrier possible. Any info would be appreciated.

The Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH629706 is confirmed to fit on your 2013 Ford Focus HB.
If you do not have a roof rack for your Focus I recommend using the WingBar Roof Rack by Thule. This roof rack includes the WingBar Evo # TH711400 for Silver or # TH711420 for Black, Evo Clamp # TH710501, and Fit Kit # TH145125. If you end up purchasing this roof rack, the instructions say to install the front crossbar 10 inches back from the top of your windshield. You can use this measurement to determine if the cargo boxes that I mentioned earlier will fit on your Focus or not without rear hatch interference.
