Recommended SportRack Roof Rack For 2012 Subaru Legacy

Can you use a sportrack sr1008 instead of sr1010 on a 2012 Subaru legacy . It was given to me .

For your 2012 Subaru Legacy, the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Square Crossbars - Steel - 45-1/2" Long, # SR1008 will not fit as it's crossbars are not long enough at 45-1/2 inches long and the brackets are vehicle specific fits. The # SR1010 is the correct fit for your vehicle and has a crossbar length of 50 inches.

Unfortunately it isn't as easy as getting longer crossbars, the mounts are also not a fit. You will want the complete system # SR1010 for your 2012 Subaru legacy for a proper fit.
