Recommended 17-1/2 Inch Wheel And Tire Combination For 75 MPH Max Speed Rating

My Brookstone FifthWheel has 16inch aluminum wheels with ten ply tires. I would like to upgrade to 17.5 Aluminum wheels with H rated tires with a max speed of 75 mph. Do I need to change the hub size because of the lug nut bolts ?

The Westlake 215/75R17.5 Radial Tire w 17-1/2" Lynx Aluminum Wheel - 8 on 6-1/2 - LR H - Black, # LHAS701 are what I recommend. This wheel has a bolt pattern of 8 on 6-1/2 inches. Whese have a max speed rating of L which is 75 mph and a ply rating of 16. The load range is H which is 4,805 lbs at 123 psi. This combination has a 30.2 inch diameter and they come nitrogen filled to maintain tire pressure longer.

If your hubs have the 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern, and you have the additional clearance on your trailer suspension, these will fit. If you have the 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern, you would need to change your hubs. You most likely would need the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 7,000-lb Axles - 12" Diameter - 8 on 6-1/2, # AKHD-865-7-2-K, but if you give me the bearing numbers on your current hubs I can make sure you get the right hubs for your trailer.
