Can The CIPA Magna Custom Towing Mirrors Be Painted

Question:
Do these mirrors have a smooth outside that are paintable on the pebble finish? It would be on a 2006 Silverado electric only. Thanks

I contacted the manufacturer of the CIPA Magna Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors # 70200 and they told me that the outside finish on these mirrors is not completely smooth.
The manufacturer said that if you plan to paint the mirrors, you should spray a test spot to see if the paint will apply properly. If the paint is not applying correctly then you may have to rough up the plastic surface with sandpaper and you may also apply a layer of primer to ensure that your paint will apply to the mirrors.
