Is the Reese Sway Control bracket RP26003 compatible with the Curt Ball Mount C45100? I need a 2inch hitch with a sway control ball that is lower than my current hitch since I traded tow vehicles. I thought Id try this approach rather than weld on a tab like my current hitch.

The Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2-Inch Ball Mounts # RP26003 will install on any 2-inch ball mount that provides a 1-inch diameter hole for the shank of the hitch ball that secures it in place, including the Curt # C45100. It will also accept any friction-style sway-control unit's ball that has a 5/8-inch diameter shank, such as the Curt # C40093.
