Does Even Brake ICX Transmitter Draw Power All the Time or Only when Using the Even Brake

Im considering installation of a 9400 Even Brake system in my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. In looking at wiring diagram, the ICX transmitter is connected to the red wire that provides a constant 12 volts. Does this mean that the ICX transmitter is transmitting all the time even when the Even Brake 9400 is out of the vehicle? If so, should I put an On/Offinch switch on the red wire to kill power when the system is not in use?

The ICX transmitter in the Even Brake, # RM-9400, won't be functioning if the Even Brake is not in the vehicle and the transmitter plugged into it. So you won't have to worry about installing a switch to turn it off and it won't run down the battery.
