Recommended Spare-Tire-Mount Bike Rack for 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with 13-1/2-In. Wide Tires
Question:
I have a Jeep Wrangler with 37inch tall x 13.50inch wide tires, and would like to know if any of the spare tire bike carriers will fit a tire that size? Thank you.

Your 13-1/2-inch extra-wide spare tire is too large for many spare-tire-mount bike carriers but there is one, the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Rack # SA999TB, that may work for you. You'll just want to take one simple measurement to determine if it will work with your wide tire.
Please refer to the linked diagram which shows how to measure the depth of your spare tire. If you measure between 5-inches and 7-3/4-inches you will also need to order Mounting Plate B, part # SA996B along with the rack. Please refer to the linked video for illustration of installation.
