Am mounting a propane bottle between a tool box and this trailer tongue jack. Need to know how far the gearbox assembly protrudes beyond the 2.5 inch round pipe.

I went out in the warehouse and measured the Bulldog Round, A-Frame Jack w/ External Gearbox # BD155157. The dimensions on the external square gearbox that is at the top of the jack measures 2-13/16 inches wide x 2-13/16 inches long x 2-1/4 inches tall. The two bolts with the nuts on the end in the gearbox have a length of 3-1/4 inches.
So the dimension from the round pipe to the end of the bolt with the nut on it is 5/8 inches. This would be the amount of the gearbox that will protrude from the upright round pipe on the trailer side of the jack.
I am sending a larger picture of the jack that will show the gearbox and the bolts in the gearbox that I have measured.
