Side Cab Steps that Will Fit a 2012 Ram 2500 Crew Cab

These steps have the same mounts as the Mopar factory steps for a 2012 Ram 2500 but your listing says they will not fit. Is there something different about these?

Pilot, the manufacturer, does not list steps # BBS-1103 as a fit for a 2012 Ram 2500 because apparently the vehicle design where these would install is not compatible with the way in which they install.
You can however use # CARR109771 or # CARR129771 as long as the truck has a gas motor and not a diesel motor. The issue with diesels is that the emissions tank under the vehicle interferes with mounting.
