The ramp on Flint Hill Goods cargo carrier # FHG77ZR can be removed with regular hand tools. It isn't difficult but would require tools. This is the case with all the carriers with ramps. None of them are particularly difficult but they do all require tools to remove the ramps such as box end wrenches or crescent wrenches.
