The Edge programmer x00002300 was for Ford Powerstroke motors and will not work with your 2005 Chevy Silverado Duramax diesel. The current CTS model that fits your truck is # EP69YR but it does not fit diesel LLY engines with a manual transmission.
If it is the LLY version you can use the EvoHT2 # EP26040.
