Question:

HI how cutable is this mat? the floor had dividers and trailer has curves and width would most likely need to be cut too. thank you!

The Surehoof Ribbed Rubber Trailer Mat # 4872SM would be able to be trimmed but you may have to take 2 or 3 passes at it with a tool, such as an exacto knife. Since you have curves, I would recommend using a chalk line guide.

This ribbed mat measures 48 x 72 inches and is 1/2 an inch thick.

Since you are using this for a horse trailer, then you would probably also want to install a few screws like part # TWSP25BK to keep the mat in place. This would allow you to easily remove the screws when it is time to give the entire trailer and mats a good cleaning.

If you are looking for a more permanent installation, then you could use glue or contact cement. Be sure you apply the glue across the entire surface to ensure you do not leave pockets for moisture to accumulate.
