Installing The Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness, # C55050, On A 2007 Dodge Caliber R/T

Question:
I ordered and received the C55050 wiring harness kit for my 2007 Dodge Caliber. The application chart says it fits to all models except the SRT. I have an R/T model Caliber and there is absolutely no compatibility between my car and this harness. The directions mention plugging the T-Connector between the existing harness connectors. My car only has connections directly to the lights. There are no intermediate connectors to plug the T-Connector into.

I called the manufacturer (Tow Ready) and they said there is no difference in the taillight wiring harness for the 2007 Dodge Caliber and the Caliber R/T. I also checked with a fellow worker here who worked in the Chrysler/Dodge factory that made the Caliber and Caliber R/T. He said that he installed the taillights in the same vehicles and that they are the same taillights.
To install the Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness, # C55050, on your 2007 Dodge Caliber R/T you will want to unplug the taillight connector on the rear of your taillight. Then, one end of the T-One connector will plug into the back of your taillights and the factory taillight connector you disconnected will plug into the other end of the T-One connector.
I am sending a video link of a similar wiring harness being installed on a 2009 Dodge Caliber. This will show you how to attach the T-Connector wiring harness to your taillights and how to run the separate wire to your battery.
