For an electric winch with a 12,000 pound capacity, you will want to use the Superwinch Replacement Circuit Breaker Assembly # SW90-22147. I spoke with my contact at Superwinch and he confirmed that this is the correct circuit breaker assembly for a 12,000 pound winch. These breakers are designed to work with winches that have capacities higher than 9,000 pounds.
The breaker assembly offers 230-amps of circuit breakers to protect your vehicle from a short with the winch. I've attached an installation video of these circuit breakers on a 2014 Ram 2500 for you.
