Was wondering if the you can take the picture frame adapter from a ram and use on a Chevy with underbed tow package

The picture frame adapter for Ram trucks with the factory 5th wheel prep package, # RP30154 for example, will not fit a Chevy truck with the prep package. The spacing on the Ram trucks is different than it is on the Chevy trucks so it physically will not fit.
The factory under bed prep package was not available until the 2016 model year of the Chevy trucks. If you have a 2014 Chevy Silverado 3500 and it has an underbed kit then it is an aftermarket kit; most likely a Reese kit # RP30868. If that is the case then you would need to use a hitch that fits directly in that system such as # RP30921. But the hitch is only confirmed for the Reese system or Ford OEM puck system so if your underbed kit is not a Reese kit the hitch will not fit.
