Does Shortening Chain of Weight Distribution Chain Hangers Reduce Suspension Sag
Published 08/18/2016 >
Question:
Hello, Last week I installed a 66082 hitch. I have the lift chain on the sixth chain link. If I lift up on the chain and shorten the length to the fifth link making more tension on the spring bars will that give me more weight distribution. ie More lift to the rear of the tow vehicle. 2012 Toyota Doublecab. Thanks for your time !

You are correct. If you shorten the length of the chain between the spring bars and the frame hangers you will apply more spring bar tension which would remove even more sag from the rear suspension.
