I have a sears x cargo and the cylinder is broken. you can open and lock the roof rack with any key or even a flat head. What do I need to change the lock or cylinder everything else seems find just the cylinder opens with any key or tool.

You would need to use the change key part # 853-1251 to remove the lock core so that you can install a new one. With the core in the unlocked position insert the key and the core will slide out.
Once out insert the key into a new core like part # THLOCKN070. You would then want the replacement key part # THKEYN070 to go with it.
