Question:

I just switched from a 2015 ram 2500 to a ram 2016 3500. I have a nearly new Pro Series 30129 Pro Series 15K Fifth Wheel Hitch, will this work in my new truck or do i need a new rail kit?

The Pro Series Fifth Wheel Kit PS30129 was a universal slider hitch and rail kit. I checked with Reese and they don't recommend the universal rail kit that came with your kit for the 2016 Ram 3500.

Instead they have custom fit kits that are a fit and would work best. Since you have the rails already all you would need is the bracket kit part # RP50085 and a new hardware kit part # RP58430 since the hardware that comes with rails is only good for one-time use.
