Position of 5th Wheel Rails in a 2011 Ford F-150 5-1/2 Foot Bed Using Semi-Custom Kit RP30035-426

Question:

I have a 2011 Ford F-150 that I am installing a fifth wheel in. Was trying to find out whet the measurements are for the top rails. That the hitch sits on?

If you are using semi-custom installation kit # RP30035-426 on your 2011 Ford F-150 then measure from the rear edge of the bed (not the tailgate) forward 29-5/16 inches. This is where the back edge of the rear rail will be. With the rear rail in position you would then use the hitch in the rear rail to locate the position of the front rail.
