7-Way Plug and Lead Recommendation for a Trailer that has a 5-Way Installed on It

Question:

Hi. I have a 7 pin trailer plug for towbar. And I have a 5 wire cable. How do I connect the cable wires to the trailer plug bcs 2 wires are missing on the cable for a 7 pin connection. A diagram would help a lot

So you have a tow vehicle that has a 7-way connector on it and then a trailer that has a 5-way? What you would need to do is remove the 5-way wiring and install a 7-way with a lead like part # HM20048 which is a 7-way with 11 feet of harness.
