Availability of a Aftermarket Wiring Harness for a 2009 Lexus RX350 with Factory Tow Package

Question:
Do you offer a hitch harness to connect with the factory connector in my 2009 RX 350? It is one of the rare ones...with the tow package. I verified the connector and fuse are there. The 2007 video is rather drastic to cut off the connector to splice on the 4 wire connector.

We do have a wiring harness that will work on your vehicle but at this time there is not an aftermarket trailer wiring connector available for the tow package connector on your 2009 Lexus RX 350.
The wiring harness that is recommended for your vehicle is the Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring for the Lexus RX350, item # 118478. This harness installs inline with the vehicle tail light connectors and requires a power wire, that is run to the positive post of the vehicle battery. This power wire is needed to protect the sensitive circuitry in the Lexus.
If your vehicle has the factory tow package then the 4-Pole 60 inch Long Vehicle End, item # 18002, can be used as you saw in the video (see link). This installation may seem drastic but is a viable option for vehicles equipped with the tow package and eliminates the need to route a wire under or through the vehicle to the battery. You would need to use a circuit tester, item # PTW2993, to verify the wire functions to connect the # 18002 connector to.
