Recommended Replacement Ramp Spring for Utility Trailer with 1-1/2 Inch Shaft

Question:

Heavy equipment trailer, two sets of ramp assist springs required. Mine are from a Cleveland Equipment Trailer. The main shaft where the ramps slide, is just a tad under 1-1/2 inch, each ramp has a swing stop that has a 1-1/2 inch shaft and that is where the coil springs are located. The individual spring is shaped like two coil springs with tangs LandR but connected by a bridge from either tang. Do you have anything like this?

It sounds like the Ramp Spring # RS16933RH for the right hand and # RS16933LH for the left side might work for your heavy equipment trailer.

These will fit a 1-1/2 inch shaft they have an overall length of 11 inches and the measurement from spring leg tip from coil is 4 inches. They will provide approximately 90 degrees of deflection and are made of high quality steel alloy.

I have linked both of these to this page for your to check out.
