Question:
Hello We have a Subaru Forester 2016 with the OEM Subaru hitch installed on it. Were looking to buy a rack. Ideally were looking for the superclamp 4 bikes but it seems only to fit in a 2inch hitch. but from your web site, it looks like the superclamp 2 bikes works with a 1.25. Can you confirm whats the scoop for those 2 products? I didnt even know there were 2 sizes until now and this is quite confusing to figure out Thks for your help

Both 1-1/4-inch Class II and 2-inch Class III hitches are made for your 2016 Subaru Forester. These differ in weight handling capacity with the 2-inch hitches like Draw-Tite # 75876 offering a 525-lb tongue weight rating versus only 350-lbs for a Class II hitch like Curt # C12100.
If you need a 4-bike rack and have an interest in changing out your hitch to # 75876, then the best option is to use Yakima's hanging-style RidgeBack Bike Rack # Y02458. The linked video shows this rack in use on a 2015 Forester. The RidgeBack includes locks for the rack itself, and it comes fully assembled.
