Brake Controller Installation on 2016 Toyota Tacoma

Question:
I have a P3. Is the part #3040-P the correct part wiring harness? for the 2016 Tacoma? I have I think located the port. It has the tow package.

To install the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 in your 2016 Toyota Tacoma, you'll need the # 3017-P Brake Controller Wiring Adapter Harness. The connector you're looking for is located behind the dash panel just to the right of the steering column as shown in the instructions I've linked for you and the photos I've provided. Be aware that the connector will only be present if the vehicle is equipped with the factory tow package that includes the factory installed 7-way trailer connector at the rear bumper.
The # 3040-P worked on Tacoma models up until the 2015 model year.
