2011 Acura MDX Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation that Does Not Require any Relays
Published 07/06/2016 >
Question:
I was going to purchase the Curt wiring harness and one person told me that I needed a special relay from Acura or have Acura activate it to make it work. Another person said it was just plug and play. Which one is it.

For trailer wiring for your 2011 Acura MDX we have the Draw Tite harness part # 118424 which does not require any special relays from Acura. It comes with everything needed to install and would work well for you.
I attached an install video for this harness on a 2011 MDX just like yours.
The Curt harness wouldn't require the relay either, but since we have better luck with the Tow Ready harnesses I recommend them more.
