The sway control tab # RP26003 is 3/8 inch thick. The hitch balls recommended for the Ball Mount # C45270 are 2-1/8 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. So for a ball with a long enough shank you would want the part # C40020 for a 2 inch ball or part # 105TB for a ball that comes with several ball diameters.
