Can Moonroof be Opened on 2013 Nissan Murano with Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack Installed

Question:
Why Thule dont recommend to open the roof!! I prefer the edge but hesitate to buy it cause of that!? Help me!! From Thule website: Thule does not recommend opening, venting, or retracting the sunroof/moonroof/glass roof while the rack is mounted. Damage to the glass and/or opening mechanism can occur. Thank You

It all depends on how the moonroof operates on your 2013 Nissan Murano. If it slides back into a cavity in the roof and doesn't raise up above the roof line then opening it will not be a problem. If it does raise up above the roof line then as long as you have the roof rack crossbars positioned so that there can be no contact then that would be fine too.
If your 2013 Nissan Murano has the factory side rails that run front to back then using the AeroBlade Edge roof rack, # TH7503B-TH7503B, that you mentioned will allow you to adjust the bars as needed within the limits of the side rails. This adjustability means that you can likely position the rails so there will not be any interference.
It isn't just Thule that has this warning. All roof racks do to some degree.
