Question:

Can this product run a 12v cooler at the same time as trailer lights? Easier way to get power supply in the truck bed. Regards.

The 12V power circuit on a 7-way trailer connector is separate from the lighting circuits. If you use an adapter like the Hopkins Multi-Tow Trailer Connector Adapter # HM47675 the 4-and-5-pole connector will carry the stop/turn/tail light signals for the trailer lights while the 12V power outlet will deliver a maintenance-level charge to keep a charged battery topped off. Both will operate at the same time.

Do note that this 12V power feed, which comes through your F-150's trailer wiring, may not be up to the task of powering a 12V cooler. You will want to check the power requirement for the specific cooler you are using and compare this to the fuse rating for the truck's 12V circuit.

If you want to have the 12V power outlet up in the truck bed, closer to the cooler, you can add a 5th wheel wiring harness extension # 41157. This 10-foot extension plugs in at the existing 7-way at the bumper and provides duplicate signals at the second 7-way. Both connectors will remain active. You can use the Hopkins adapter in the second 7-way.
