Light Option for Mounting on Canoe Loaded on Yakima Rack and Roll For Night Visibility

Question:
Do you have a recommendation of how to add an extended taillight to a Yakima Rack and Roll trailer? If I want to carry a canoe on the trailer that overhangs by more than 4 feet, I need to have a light hung at the end of the canoe if I want to drive at night. By day, a flag is OK in NJ.

You would have to tap into the running light circuit of the trailer wiring on your Rack and Roll trailer and then come up with a way to mount a temporary light to the canoe.
Or go with a battery powered red light like the part # HF18R-MB which you would need to mount to the canoe and have turned on when towing. This would probably be the easiest solution.
I attached a review video for this light for you to check out as well.
