Before installing a roof cargo basket, you'll need a roof rack with crossbars. If your Cherokee has side rails, you can add crossbars using the SportRack # SR1098. If your Cherokee has a bare roof, you can add a roof rack using the following parts:
Rhino Rack 2500 Series Crossbar, part # RRVA137B-2
Leg Kit, part # RRRLKVA
Vehicle specific clamp kit, part # DK398
The Rhino-Rack # RMCB Cargo Basket would be an excellent choice, and would be compatible with either rack configuration mentioned above.
I wouldn't recommend operating the sunroof with the roof rack in place.
