The Rhino-Rack Fixed J-Style Kayak Carrier # S510 offers a kayak weight capacity of 99-lbs per craft so it can handle the weights of each of your two 60 to 70-lb kayaks. Because this is a universal-fit carrier system it will mount on just about all factory-installed roof crossbars and also fits aftermarket racks with round, aerodynamic and elliptical bars.
Rhino-Rack's J-Style Kayak Carrier # S510 uses 1-inch diameter steel tubing of 1/16-inch thickness. It is illustrated in the linked video.
Be sure to check your vehicle owner's manual for its roof weight capacity. The combined weight of your two kayaks plus the 10-lb weight of each carrier system when added together must remain within the car's capacity.
