Question:
attaching x cargo to a roof with no crossbars I have a 2011 hyuhndai sonato, with no crossbars. How do I attach it to the car?

There were some cargo boxes that used straps to attach to the vehicle. But it wasn't a good design and those boxes aren't made anymore. If your X-Cargo box uses this design or u-bolt mounting hardware then you will need to have a roof rack with crossbars installed.
There is a semi-custom roof rack that will fit your 2011 Hyundai Sonata and allow you to mount the box; # SR1002. If your box is the type that uses the straps then you would strap it to the bars. Otherwise the u-bolt hardware will hold the box to the crossbars.
